In 'View' menu, checkmark 'Ruler'; if ruler is not set for inches, go to the preferences and set the ruler to inches in General Preferences.
Step 1
Start with a new image 8x10 inches.
Step 2
Resize to 75% so that you have the right dimensions for the 8x10 format.
Step 3
Get the tube you made and use CTRL & C key together to 'copy' the
tube. Now you can minimize or delete the tube image.
Step 4
Use the 'rectangle selection' tool; Hold 'CTRL' key while hitting the
'V' key to paste the tube to the new image. Once you have pasted
it, move it flush to the top on the new image; then repeat the 'pasting'
of a second tube and slide it flush to the bottom of the new image.
Step 5
Add a new layer.
Step 6
Still using the 'rectangle selection' tool, starting at the 0,0
coordinance, drag a rectangle right to the 1 inch mark and then all the
way down; next, hold down the shift key and starting at 0 height
and the 5 inch mark, draw a rectangle all the way to the right and all
the way to the bottom - let go on the mouse button and then release the
shift key. This makes a multiple selection.
Step 7
Next,
click on the fill tool (bucket)
then set your fill color to white
Step 8
Fill both rectangles with (a solid color or pattern you choose if you
don't have BladePro) solid white to Blade.
Step 9
Open SuperBaldePro (or BladePro).
choose any SuperBladePro
or BladePro preset you like. There are 4,352 Blade Pro presets at
the Blading Basket
at this time to choose from and SuperBlade Pro presets available at Pixel
Art by Joyce.
*Note: I chose a preset from my 'Private Collection' without
thinking that someone might want to use the same one, but have made this
frame using 60 different presets for downloadable frames which I posted
on my GreenWay Graphics site, so any preset at all will work fine.
Step 10
Your image should now look similar to this shot; Now from the
"selection' menu, click on 'Select None'.
Step 11
Using the 'Merge' menu, merge visible.
Step 12
Two steps for the drop shadow. I used EyeCandy 3.0's drop shadow
but PSP's drop shadow will work too.
Open Drop shadow filter.
Step 13
In EyeCandy's drop shadow, match the settings below; in PSP's
drop shadow, set horizontal= -1 and vertical=1, set your opacity and blur
to your own preferences. Click OK.
Step 14
Go in for the second drop shadow; set EyeCandy's drop shadow
to match picture; in PSP's drop shadow, set horizontal= 1 and vertical=-1,
leave other setting same as before; click OK.
Your Frame is now finished and you need to save it to your PSP/Frames
folder using a file extension of 'pfr' as in the pic below.
Close Window when Finished.
