This
tutorial was written using Paint
Shop Pro 8
You will need to download the selections and save them in a folder of your choice, these selections will work fine for versions 7 & 8
Open a new image 300 x 300
Name your first layer bunny1
Load the 01 selection and fill with #CBB1A3 and deselect
Load the 02 selection and fill with #FBF7F5 and deselect
Load the 03 selection and fill with black, deselect
Load the 04 selection and fill with white and deselect
Load the 05 selection and fill with #D86A6A and deselect
Load the 06 selection and fill with #E79F9F and deselect
Here's what you should have

Select inside the belly using the magic wand and use a cutout with these settings
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 100
Blur =
6
Shadow Color = same as outline #CBB1A3
Fill Interior With Color
(checked) = same as fill #FBF7F5

Select inside the right foot and use the same cutout, select inside the left foot and use the same cutout

same cutout for both the arms

same cutout for the top of the head

select the outside ear and use the same cutout, changing the blur to 3
repeat for the other ear

select around the mouth and use the same cutout changing the blur to 6, do not deselect
add a new layer and use the paintbrush size = 10 and #E79F9F to make some cheeks

while still selected use a gaussian blur of 4 and then deselect.
Layers, Merge, Merge Visible
Select inside both the inner ears and fill with #F4DCDB

Now zoom up and paint some highlights on the cheeks with white and a little shade on the nose with #E08888 and highlight on the nose with #F9E1E1 using the paintbrush size = 1

and thats it for this bunny

Add a new raster layer for the heart
Load the 07 selection and fill with #F0C6C6 and deselect
Load the 08 selection and fill with #BA3232 and deselect
Load the 09 selection and fill with #E8A8A8, do not deselect and use a cutout with these settings
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 100
Blur =

Shadow Color = same as outline #BA3232
Fill Interior With Color
(checked) = same as fill #E8A8A8
Load the 10 selection and fill with #F0C6C6 and deselect.

Add a new raster layer for the next bunny
Load the 11 selection and fill with #CBB1A3 and deselect.
Load the 12 selection and fill with #FBF7F5 and deselect
Load the 13 selection and fill with black and deselect
Load the 14 selection and fill with white and deselect
Load the 15 selection and fill with #D86A6A and deselect
Load the 16 selection and fill with #E79F9F and deselect
Here's what you should have

You are going to shade this bunny exactly the same way you did the other, using the same cutouts and colors...

When you are finished with that, add a new raster layer for the balloons
Load the 17 selection and fill with black and deselect
Load the 18 selection and fill with your choice, I used #934E94 and deselect
Load the 19 selection and fill with a lighter color, I used #D2AAD2, do not deselect
Use a cutout with these settings
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 0
Opacity = 100
Blur =
20
Shadow Color = same as outline #934E94
Fill Interior With Color
(checked) = same as fill #D2AAD2
while still selected add a new layer and add some highlight using white

Use a gaussian blur of three and deselect.
Merge this with the balloon layer
Load the 20 selection and fill with your choice, I used #D95757 and deselect
Load the 21 selection and fill with a lighter color I used #EFADAD, do not deselect
use the same cutout as before, changing your shadow and fill interior colors to match
While still selected, add a new layer and make the same highlight as the other balloon.
Load the 22 selection and fill with black and deselect.

Add a new raster layer for the next bunny
Load the 23 selection and fill with #CBB1A3 deselect
Load the 24 selection and fill with #FBF7F5 and deselect
Load the 25 selection and fill with black and deselect
Load the 26 selection and fill with white and deselect
Load the 27 selection and fill with #D86A6A and deselect
Load the 28 selection and fill with #E79F9F and deselect.
Here's what you should have

Shade this one, the same as the other two

Add a new raster layer for the flowers
Load the 29 selection and fill with #5C8A5C and deselect
Load the 30 selection and fill with #436143 and deselect
Load the 31 selection and fill with #B881BD and deselect
Load the 32 selection and fill with #DBBBDD and deselect
Load the 33 selection and fill with #D7A959 and deselect
Load the 34 selection and fill with #E5C593 and deselect
Add a little shade and highlight to the flowers

and you are finished!
