Save Transparent GIF
If you don't want to animate it, then your Suncatcher is finished! If you want to animate it, you can skip this page and move on to Page #5, but you will have to return here to learn saving transparent GIF files if you don't already know how. Saving an image as a transparent GIF file will allow you to use your image on almost any background color or pattern. Select File/Export/GIF Optimizer. Then set your options exactly like the following four screens - the fifth screen is the one where you select the folder to save the image in and the name you want to give it:

Note: Pay particular notice to the byte size the image will be. The image I saved in these samples was my suncatcher tube at 50%. Smaller images smooth the ragged edges left by some leading styles, plus if you're animating it, the final size will be much smaller and downloading time is important. I added a small sparkle from Hood's Sparkle Tube [available in the list of supplies at the beginning of this tutorial.
